The scientific adviser will specialise in communicating challenges, engaging with and driving areas including: artificial intelligence, human machine teaming, communication, cyber and electromagnetic activities and other related areas. The adviser will not need experience in defence nor in the specific technical areas but these will support you in being the top candidate. To be effective in the role, the science adviser will be a confident communicator who is comfortable exploring new areas of science and technology and building strong relationships. They will be able to interpret deep expertise and translate this to non-specialists and seniors in a convincing manner.
