Teach-in Sessions on Implementing the Concordat to Support Research Integrity within Government

The Government Office for Science is presenting two virtual (Microsoft Teams) cross-government teach-ins on the “Guidance to Implement the Research Integrity Concordat within Government”. The sessions will cover the background to the Concordat and why we are applying it in government; and how to approach implementation within departments. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions.

The Concordat to Support Research Integrity (“Concordat”) provides a national framework for good research conduct and its governance. Research integrity means upholding the highest standards in research, including legal, ethical and professional standards; and having the right environment and processes in place to support this.

The teach-ins will be taking place at 11:30 am on the 14th and 18th of October (same presentation at both, you do not need to attend both sessions). We will also be recording one of the sessions which will be made available to anyone who cannot attend either session through our Science Capability Hub.

Please contact sciencecapabilityhub@go-science.gov.uk if you would like an invitation to one of these sessions or if you have any questions.
