An exciting opportunity for current Civil Servants has now opened to join the Private Office of the Government Chief Scientific Adviser (GCSA), Dame Angela McLean, At the Government Office for Science (GO-Science).  

Job Description 

In this role, you will work closely with the GCSA, the Director of GO-Science and the wider senior leadership team, ensuring that the organisation is fully equipped and supported to effectively deliver the GCSA’s priorities. The Private Office is small and friendly with a strong emphasis on team working and going above and beyond to provide a quality service. 

You will work closely with GO-Science staff and liaising with external and cross-Whitehall partners, including Cabinet Office, Treasury and No10, to ensure the GCSA has the advice she needs to act effectively. The Private Secretary will support the GCSA at meetings and during visits, gathering, communicating and ensuring delivery of the arising actions.
