Job description
As Senior Private Secretary (SPS), you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day running of the Chief Scientific Adviser’s Private Office. This is the small inner-office team that enables the CSA to carry out their senior leadership role.
No two days are the same in Private Office, it is an exciting and typically fast-paced environment where you will work as part of a close-knit team. You will be expected to familiarise yourself with the broad remit of the CSA, covering cross-departmental strategy work on science, innovation, technology, net zero and climate issues. The role will also support providing DBT with high-quality futures analysis and foresights capability.
