Science and Technology Portfolio Delivery Lead (G7), Home Office

The Office for Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT) is responsible for developing and coordinating the Government’s approach on a wide range of security issues, supporting the Home Secretary and other Ministers in the development and implementation of the UK’s strategies for countering terrorism and ensuring our national security.

Roles within OSCT are fast paced and high profile, and impact daily on the safety and security of the UK. The experience, expertise and relationships across the Department, Whitehall, the Police, and Security and Intelligence Agencies enable the department to provide high quality analysis and advice to Ministers and senior officials who have significant interest in our work.

The Portfolio Delivery Lead will design and oversee formulation, commissioning and delivery of the multi-million pound S&T portfolio, including across Physical Sciences, Behavioural and Social Sciences, and Digital and Data. We deliver the portfolio in close collaboration with our wider government, international and private sector partners.
