We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support the Director General/Chief Scientific Adviser (CSA) and Deputy CSA (dCSA) in the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero as a Private Secretary (HEO).
The role
As a Private Secretary you will play a core role in the team that supports the CSA function. You will work closely with the CSA and dCSA to advise on work areas, establish strong working relationships to help meet CSA priorities, and support on projects that will strengthen the way the department draws on scientific evidence. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. We are a small friendly team, and we will provide an encouraging environment to the successful candidate.
