Senior Project Leader, Government Office for Science

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Blog Series, GSE Opportunities

Do you like to think about the future and how we might prepare for it? Do you want a role that allows you to analyse big, systemic issues that will impact the UK? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to deliver Foresight Projects, which identify key challenges and opportunities for government, aiming to inform better policy that is resilient in the long-term.

The role

This role is one of three G7 posts in the division, leading a small team (2 HEOs and 1 intern) to support development of a pipeline of projects and oversee delivery of (usually) one substantial project at a time. This may be combined with flexible work to support the wider horizon-scanning function, and limited dissemination and advice work to cement the impact of projects recently delivered. It is intended that the role holder will initially lead a new project on the Future of Global Supply Chains for DBT and other departments.
