Civil Service Quarterly features the GSE Story

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: GSE Profession Updates, Latest Stories

Civil Service Quarterly highlights the innovative communication solution used by the GSE profession.

If you want to know more about why the Government Science and Engineering (GSE) team created the GSE Story, then you can read about it in the latest edition of Civil Service Quarterly.

Dr Shabana Haque, Head of the GSE team explains how the “Eye-catching use of art and design in the cartoon images has helped us to connect with a diverse audience and demystify our work”.

Since the article was written, the number of registered members of GSE has doubled, from the 524 quoted to 1050 new GSE members.

This builds on the success of the recently published GSE Strategy which called upon Civil Servants with a background in science and engineering to sign up to the profession. And will go a long way to raise the profile and build pride in the GSE profession.

You can read more about the GSE Story and how it was made in a previous GSE blog post. You can also download a PDF version of the article.

*Civil Service Quarterly regularly publishes articles by civil servans, showcasing excellence and inviting discussion.
