Professional Recognition Week 2024

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Learning & Development, Reward & Recognition

As part of the Government Science and Engineering (GSE) professional recognition offer, the GSE Profession is pleased to announce Professional Recognition Week will take place from Monday 11 to Friday 15 November this year.

The professional recognition offer provides GSE members with tailored support to achieve professional registration with a STEM organisation that best aligns with their expertise. This offer includes access to government-chartered mentors, engagement with our partner STEM professional organisations, assistance with the application process to become professionally recognised, and guidance on obtaining departmental funding where possible.

The goal of this initiative is to enable GSE members to leverage the advantages of professional registration and support the building of expertise and capability of the GSE Profession. Pursuing professional recognition can enhance career progression, provides formal recognition of professional skills, and also gives you access to extensive external opportunities such as professional networks, events, and training workshops.
